These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hookly, available at hookly.studio (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Ethena Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales, at 51 Wilton Avenue, Peterborough, PE7 8RQ. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Hookly is an AI-assisted tool that helps you generate images, captions and short-form content (such as TikTok carousels and ads) from products and prompts you supply. Output is generated using third-party AI models and is provided for your own use.
You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
The Service runs on credits. You buy credits in packs, and credits are deducted when you generate content, at the rates shown in the app. Generating written copy is free; image generation consumes credits based on resolution. Prices are shown at checkout and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
Payments and order fulfilment are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Limited). Paddle handles the transaction, invoicing and tax, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. New accounts may receive a number of free starter credits at our discretion. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.
You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, hateful, or that violates the rules of any platform you post to (including TikTok). You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any product images, brand assets or materials you upload, and for the claims made in content you publish.
You retain ownership of the images and materials you upload. As between you and us, you may use the content you generate for your own commercial and personal purposes. You grant us a limited licence to process your uploads and prompts solely to provide the Service. AI output may not be unique, may contain inaccuracies, and is provided for you to review before use — you are solely responsible for how you use it.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We rely on third-party providers (including AI and hosting providers) and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that output will be accurate, error-free, non-infringing, or fit for any particular purpose, or that using generated content will produce any particular result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ethena Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (via Paddle) for credits in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Refunds, where applicable, are handled under our Refund Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
